Nicholas George, 3 yo colt just won very impressive the Happy Big Birthday Peter Barron Novice Stakes at Redcar. Run over 2000m. This was only his 2nd lifetime start. Previously being 2nd at Kempton last November at 2yo in a 1600 m race.
Nicholas George is bred and owned by succesful breeder Philippa Cooper of Normandie Stud.
Mrs Cooper was also the breeder of the other 3 yo son of Reliable Man, who finished 2nd also at Redcar today.

Nicolas George is trained by Kevin Philippart De Foy. Looking forward to follow this horse!

So very close to have another Group 1 Winner for the son of Reliable Man, when his son today BENAUD, 3yo finsihed 2nd, just beaten by a neck!
Coming from almost last he looked to have the race in his hand on the finishing line. Showing the same turn of foot as his Sire.

The offsprings of Reliable Man has done very well in March.
In the Southern Hemisphere he has had 14 winners up until the 27th.
In the Northern Hemisphere, with much lower numbers of runners, he has had 5 winners until the 27th.
In total in 2022 it includes :2 winners of Group 2, winner of Group 3 and a second in Group 2, Second and Third places in Listed. In total 5 BlackType horses!

In yesterdays Listed race at Dusseldorf, Arioli was so close to get his well deserved Big Black Type. A photofinish, got him 2nd place.
The 3yo son of Reliable Man has previously at 2 yo also been 2nd placed in photofinish in the Gr 3 Grosser Preis der Wohnstätte at Krefeld, and as well being placed 2nd in the Listed Grosser Junioren Preis in Dusseldorf. Both over 1600 m.
Already in August at 2 you he won his maiden.
 

The very first 2yo race run in Europe in 2022, was won by a doughter by RELIABLE MAN.
MUSICANA took home the Prix de la Marche, a race run at Saint Cloud over 900 meter. She scoored an easy win by 5/4 lenght.

Inspirational Girl beat the favorit in the 1600 m Group 2. Shas has now got a ticket to run in the All-Star Mile in two week with a price money of 3,35 million Euros!

Hypnos is still going strong. The 6 yo gelding won the 2000 m Taranaki Cup in New Zealand. A Group 3.
Previously beeing 3rd in a Group 2 in December over only 1400 meter.
His lifetime record is very good over distances of 1400-2000 meter
